Greetings is a 1-1 (one with one) performance about you and me. A time spend to learn about each other through some performative games/performance scores to interact, explore, and play with how we see ourselves, what identities we project to the other, and how we construct our and the other’s self during that short time we meet each other.
Greetings is an exploration on how we engage with the other, our previous (if any) history, how we present (or re-present) our self and how we relate our identities, how the other sees and defines us and what we do about it. The performance aims to create an intimate space to interact, play, create (special/ personal/ temporal/ unexpected) relationships. At the same time explore notions of intimacy, agency, respect, consent, approval, identity in a social/political way that both the performance scores and the proposed structure will provide.
